This cab ride was filmed from the cab of EWS Class 37
264for a driver training exercise.
We begin from Bristol’s Barton Hill Depot and travel along the
Great Western Main Line to Swindon during which we a number
of different classes en route including, 47s,59s, and HSTs.
The return to Bristol is via Wootton Bassett Junction and
Chipping Sodbury and through the 2-mile long tunnel. We end
our trip at Bristol East Carriage Sidings.
There are occasional picture disturbances as our Traction
Inspector uses his mobile to call various signal boxes.
